Christmas Vacations: The Ultimate Gift!
Looking for a vacation package this Christmas season to beat the stress of the holidays? Welcome to ChristmasVacationPackages.org: Your source for the best vacation packages.
I know that tradition is to stay home and spend time with the ones that you love. The thing you have to remember is that the time between Christmas and the New Year can be split up between family and vacation. You can spend Christmas with your normal group of family and friends, and then go on a relaxing vaction with your immediate family or significant other after Christmas. This way you can get that much needed break you need, while not hurting anyones feelings.
Just imagine how great you will feel this holiday season knowing that you will be spending a few days on the beach, in Vegas, or maybe on a cruise! The possibilities are endless and if you really look around you can find some great prices. You will feel like a kid again, waiting for Christmas to come! I know the most exciting time of my life is waking up the morning of vacation. I remember me and my wife went on a Western Caribbean cruise for eight days! The morning when I woke up and we were driving to the airport just felt like heaven! I was smiling like a butcher’s dog! I absolutely love vacations! I love traveling, and I actually love staying in hotels!
If you plan it far enough ahead of time, you can get everything locked up, well before the insanity of the holidays starts. The amount of planning can be mind numbing though and you should really get a plan of attack. You will need to decide where you want to go, who’s all coming, what type of vacation package, how you are going to get there, etc. As you can see if you don’t plan it out, you can get confused or forget something real quick.
Here are some ideas to get you started:
Destination Ideas: Carribbean, Florida, Europe, Asia, Mexico, las Vegas, New York, Hawaii, Australia
Types Of Vacations: All-inclusive, Beach, Cruise, Ski-Resort, Romantic, Adult-only, Family Type, Golf, Camping
Type Of Travel: Air, Train, Bus, Cruise, Car
This is just a small sample of things that you will need to choose for your Christmas vacation package. The main thing during the holiday season, and all of the time really, is spend quality time with the ones that you love. It just seems so much easier to enjoy yourself while relaxing on a beach or on the deck of a cruise ship. You work hard all year, you deserve it, and so does your family!
Things to consider once you get to your destination:
You want everything to go smoothly once you get to your final destination. You will have to decide if you will need a rental car, maps of the areas, travel guides, traveler’s checks, etc. Depending on the type of vacation package that you book, you may need to line up the excursions ahead of time. I know if you are going on a cruise that hits many ports, you will need to have this figured out beforehand. If you are going on an entertainment vacation or to a theme park, like Disney, you should plan ahead and book your daily events well before you get there.
Go over in your head all the things that you will be doing and what you will need to bring with you. One of the main things that you may need is your Passport. Whatever you do, do not forget this. If you or someone else that is coming along with you, do not have a Passport, get one as soon as poosible. Since 9/11 it takes longer to get one and depending on your destination, you may not be able to go without it. Another key item would be any medicines that you or someone in your party needs to take on a regular basis.
Try to plan as much ahead of time as you can, although most items can be bought while on your vacation, if you forget them. The key is to go and relax, reconnect with your loved ones, remember the reason for the holiday season, and just have a great time!
My Personal Favorite!
If I were in your shoes and I was looking for a great vacation package, I would go on a cruise. In fact, I would pick a cruise over any other type of vacation that there is. Although some of those all-inclusive vacations are pretty great also. Getting back to cruises though, there are many different destinations to choose from. You can spend a sun drenched eight days in the Carribbean, tour the islands of Hawaii, or even go on an Alaskan cruise.
Personally, I would go for the warmer areas, but I am from the northeast. Come December, It gets pretty cold in my neck of the woods. A cruise can thaw you out from the most bitter weather that mother nature wants to throw at you! There is nothing like being on the top deck with your feet in the pool, drinking a margarita! The only thing wrong with a cruise is that they end! At some point you have to actually go home, but I challenge you to find a better time anywhere else!
There are many different cruise lines to choose from as well as plenty of excursions offered at each port. You can swim with the dolphins, snorkle, scuba dive, ride horseback on the beach, as well as explore an island on a ATV, or take a guided tour. I think that you can tell that I really love cruises and I hope that some of my enthusiasm rubs off on you. If you’ve never been on one, you should really consider booking one this holiday season.
