It’s true most of the year round apart from spring break time Cancun is a great place to go. It’s the same as a lot of the coastal party cities in Mexico, if you go in Spring Break you will think they are just insane party towns. Most of the time, and at Xmas, they are a lot more chilled out and relaxing.

Wow!! I aways wait for Christmas time, and yes this is true that Christmas time is the best time to relax and go to some place like Cancum for vacation. And yes it is alwasy better to plan in advance about your vacation, so that you could get better deals on flights and hotels.

Ski trip in Cancun? never thought of that. Of course, Cancun might not be so popular where I live, as I am from Europe. Here the most popular ski resort (and most beautiful) is in Austria. They have some amazing slopes and resorts.
Maybe you could post some pictures of the resorts in Cancun, to see how they look.

I have vacationed in Cancun and Cozumel numerous times.
Although it is no longer the place I remember ( it has gone to the tourists)
It is still a fun time. The beaches are great and the fishing is very good.
