If you are looking to go somewhere outside of the states, there are some very popular areas that include Canada, Europe, as well as South America. In Canada, you may wish to try Mont Tremblant in Quebec. It has trails for all different skill sets as well as dog sledding and ice climbing. Mont Tremblant has been rated the best ski town in eastern North America by Ski Magazine. If you are wanting to ski in Europe, there are plenty of choices, from Italy, France, Germany, Ausria, and many more locations. If you try Switzerland, there are so many great resorts to choose from, it may give you a headache trying to pick one! A great choice though would be St. Moritz which has over 300 inches of annual snowfall and a top elevation that is close to 11,000 feet. It has trails to fit anyone with the majority of them tailored towards the intermediate skier. Like many ski resorts, there is an incredible nightlife with casinos and night clubs.

As you can see, there are literally hundreds of choices to make when looking into ski vacation packages. Depending on how much money you want to spend and how much time you have, you can easily find many that fit your needs. Some are more interested in the lodging and amenities while some people care more about the actual slopes than anything else.
